Volunteer with the Phoenix Center at Auraria and other members on Auraria campus for chalking event for Relationship Violence Awareness Month! 

The purpose of this event is to raise awareness around campus about interpersonal violence and write supportive messages for survivors.

1) Resist cultural pressures to accept the appearance ideal
2) Reallocate your valuable time to something other than striving for an unrealistic body
3) Increase confidence and body satisfaction
4) Bond with like-minded students

The sessions are broken up into two 2-hour sessions, held one week apart. You will be part of a small group of women and non-binary students discussing the appearance ideal and how to fight back against it.
